The Glendale Union High School District provides support services for students with disabilities at all nine high schools. Services provided are established through the student's Individual Educational Program or IEP and must be in compliance with the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act or IDEA. Services range from academic assistance for one hour per day to full day self-contained settings. Related services are also provided.

The Glendale Union High School District provides proportionate share special education services for students with disabilities who are home schooled through the development of individual service plans. For more information regarding proportionate share special education services, please contact the Special Education Department at (623) 435-6067. The district will be hosting an informational meeting for parents of students enrolled in home school settings to discuss procedures and types of services. The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 21 at 4:30 p.m. at the district office located at 7650 N 43rd Avenue, Glendale, Arizona 85301 for families residing within our district boundaries. The Glendale Union High School District is looking for students who may need special education services such as: specialized instruction, therapy services, or specialized equipment.
